In recent years, the Thoma Foundation has been a leader in supporting the conservation of digital artwork. For a private collection focused on digital art, collections manager and registrar, Kate Weinstein, has adapted larger institutions’ best practices to better fit the Foundation’s smaller staff and entrepreneurial spirit. In this month’s ThomaTalks, Kate will share the Thoma Foundation’s process of documenting and preserving emerging technology and offer a Q&A session for other smaller institutions, private collectors and artists who are interested in doing the same. This exciting and innovative new addition to our ThomaTalks series will be hosted on Wednesday, July 28, at 4 pm MT.
