With strengths in American and European surrealism, abstract painting, mid-century kinetic and light works, and art addressing powerful themes of history, land use, and identity, Krannert Art Museum’s exhibition Art Since 1948 surveys the collection and encourages formal and conceptual connections across six decades.

On loan from the Thoma Foundation are June Harwood’s 1969 painting Rotated Hexagon from the Hexagon Series and Nick Cave’s 2014 multimedia sculpture Soundsuit.

This exhibition is on view until May 29, 2020 in Krannert Art Museum’s Rosann Gelvin Noel Gallery. For more information, visit Our Collection on Tour webpage.
