STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA – Just in time for the start of the new academic year, Oklahoma State University’s Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources will host an artwork loan from the Thoma Foundation.
Bruce Nauman’s Setting a Good Corner (Allegory and Metaphor) is an hour-long video that depicts the artist erecting fence posts on his Las Madres Ranch in New Mexico. The work considers labor an artwork, like performance art, as well as a metaphor for the hard work of life itself. Setting a Good Corner will be on view in the first floor lobby of Agricultural Hall through the end of the calendar year.
The Thoma Foundation lends artwork from all of its collection areas to exhibition venues across the United States.
