Meet the Team: Libby Tilley

Tell us a little about yourself. What did you do before joining the Thoma Foundation team?
Most recently, I have been working on my mobile art gallery, Lottie Mae Lounge, a fully renovated airstream showcasing the work of emerging and established artists. Prior to that, I helped the Amon Carter Museum with their capital campaign.
Can you explain a little bit about the work you’ve been doing at TF?
I’ve worked with Holly Harrison to set communication goals/priorities for the Foundation which include highlighting the museum loan program and the good work of grant recipients. Just getting my feet wet and look forward to sharing the good work of the Foundation across all disciplines.
Do you have a favorite piece of artwork in the collection?
This past summer I had the good fortune to visit Art Vault in Santa Fe. It was so engaging and quite frankly, mind-blowing. Jason Faumberg did an amazing job on the installation. I was absolutely blown away by Jennifer Steinkamp.
Where is your favorite place to see art in the Dallas-Fort Worth area?
The Modern Museum of Art of Fort Worth has an incredible exhibition program run by Andrea Karnes and strong leadership in Marla Price. Outside of the dynamic Tadao Ando spaces, the exhibitions shown and coordinated are always at the highest level of experience.
