The Foundation announces our participation in this year’s EXPO Chicago Special Exhibitions program with a booth featuring Daniel Rozin’s Selfish Gene Mirror (2015) from the Foundation’s Digital Art collection. Visit us at Booth 120 to meet our staff and learn more about our collection and programs.
In addition our founder, Carl Thoma, will be speaking on the “Collecting in the Age of Futurity” panel on Friday, September 23 from 12:00-1:00pm. He will be joined by Aram Moshayedi, curator at the Hammer Museum, Christiane Paul, 2016 Arts Writing Awards in Digital Art recipient, Adjunct Curator of New Media Arts at the Whitney Museum of American Art and Associate Professor of New Media Studies at The New School, and Anita Zabludowicz, founder of the Zabludowicz Collection. The conversation will be moderated by Omar Kholeif, Manilow Senior Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and member of the selection committee for the 2016 Arts Writing Awards in Digital Art.
