What did you like most about your hometown?
I liked knowing everyone and everyone knowing me. It almost felt like a second family.
Why did you choose Texas Tech?
I chose Tech because ever since I was little I knew I belonged in Texas. Since then my family has always been Tech fans, and I too grew to love the school and what it stands for. When touring the campus, I enjoyed the atmosphere and how people interacted with each other. It was no question after touring that Texas Tech was my home away from home.

What things are you good at that nobody knows about?
Something that I am good at that no one knows about is art.
Anything else you’d like to share?
I am from Oklahoma, but I am originally from Colorado. I grew up living on a ranch my whole life and being involved in agriculture. I am the youngest of six siblings and am an auntie of soon to be 7. I am very family-oriented and the first in the family to go to a 4-year university out of state. For the short time I have been at Tech, I have joined Greek life and am a member of Zeta Tau Alpha. Along with this, I have joined other groups related to my major in agriculture and leadership. In my free time, I will soon be volunteering at animal shelters and equine facilities.
