The Foundation identifies and awards individuals and organizations that are actively pursuing promising lines of inquiry that align with our art collection areas. We research and award those who employ originality and entrepreneurial approaches in their work in these areas:
- Curatorial research and planning
- Arts writing
- Exhibitions and performances
Additionally, we seek to engage diverse audiences in learning opportunities that spur critical thinking and provide a deeper understanding of the issues relevant to the fields in which we collect. Education programs range from interactive learning experiences at our exhibition spaces to the support of professorship endowments and symposia.
