Include any documentation that serves as evidence of your attempt to secure support for your project and attach any relevant communications. This might include communications with institutions whose collections and archives will be critical to the success of the project or a narrative description of the applicant's efforts.

Pre-doctoral applicants must include a letter of reference from their dissertation advisor. Museum professionals must include a letter of support from their department head or director. Scholars may use traditional references.
